About the Opportunity

We're partnering with a
reputable Texas-based General Contractor
known for delivering high-profile education and commercial projects with integrity, craftsmanship, and community focus. They're seeking an experienced
Senior Estimator
to join their preconstruction team and play a key role in shaping competitive, accurate, and innovative bids across K-12 and institutional projects.

What You'll Do


• Lead the full estimating process from concept through GMP and final proposal submission.


• Analyze drawings, specifications, and subcontractor bids to ensure accurate, comprehensive estimates.


• Collaborate with owners, architects, and project teams to develop budgets and value-engineering solutions.


• Manage bid schedules, scopes, and takeoffs for K-12, municipal, and commercial projects.


• Mentor junior estimators and support the continuous improvement of estimating tools and processes.


• Ensure accuracy, competitiveness, and compliance across all bid deliverables.

What You Bring


•
5–10 years
of estimating experience with a
General Contractor
.


• Strong background in
K-12 or institutional projects
(preferred).


• Bachelor's degree in
Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
(or equivalent experience).


• Proficiency with
On-Screen Takeoff, Bluebeam, and estimating software
.


• Excellent communication, analytical, and negotiation skills.


• A collaborative mindset with a drive to deliver quality work and maintain lasting relationships.
