The successful candidate will serve as a vital link between our brand and the community, managing reviews, engagement, and communications across multiple channels with clarity, empathy, and precision.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with teams to write, plan, and schedule content across social media platforms.
  • Ensure consistent representation of our brand voice in all communications.
  • Manage our presence on social networking sites such as X, TikTok, and YouTube.
  • Plan and execute community outreach efforts.
  • Organize fan engagement and acquisition promotions, including sweepstakes and contests.
  • Partner with Customer Service to address customer concerns and moderate user-generated content.
  • Develop, test, and refine best practices for engaging with customers and building our brand on social networks.
  • Analyze key metrics and create weekly performance reports.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of social networks, customer insights, and emerging social media trends.
  • Advocate for social media within the broader organization.
  • Establish partnerships with subject matter experts and social media stakeholders to create content for distribution.

Essential Skills

  • 1-2 years of community management experience.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Thorough understanding of social media and community management best practices.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changes and produce results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong bias for action and effective prioritization skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience running online promotions such as sweepstakes and contests.
  • 1-2 years of experience managing a social media presence or online community.
  • Experience engaging large communities of 1 million members or more.
  • Experience with TikTok, X, or YouTube advertising.
  • Strong copywriting abilities and sound editorial judgment.
  • Ability to use quantitative data to drive editorial and marketing decisions.
  • Strong influence management skills to work with business and technology teams.

Work Environment
This role operates in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, utilizing social media platforms and tools to engage with a large community. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with ambiguity and flexible in responding to changes. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential, as is the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of San Francisco, California but can also be fully remote

Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $ $24.00/hr.
