Adecco is partnering with a leading Engineering Services company to recruit and hire a full time
Engineering Manager – Construction Materials Testing (PE)
in Reno, NV. This position will oversee all Construction Materials Testing operations, including project management, field services, lab activities, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all phases of Construction Materials Testing and field engineering projects, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and technical standards
  • Supervise engineers, project managers, and technicians; develop and mentor staff
  • Review technical reports, calculations, and proposals
  • Oversee department budgets, forecasting, invoicing, and financial performance
  • Support business development through client and community engagement
  • Attend site meetings, resolve field issues, and ensure accurate reporting

Qualifications:

  • PE license is required
  • BS in Civil Engineering or related field
  • 6+ years of experience in relevant engineering, construction, or materials testing role
  • Leadership and project management experience
  • Strong technical knowledge of ASTM standards, soil classifications, and construction materials (concrete, asphalt, soil, steel)
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed
  • Must be comfortable with physical activity and variable site conditions.
