Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to oversee the sales team in our Orlando, FL location. As the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales, supervising sales staff, and ensuring exceptional customer service. Your role will be instrumental in maintaining DL Cabinetry's commitment to delivering outstanding quality products while keeping costs down.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Management:
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets and maximize revenue.
- Monitor sales performance, analyze data, and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide guidance and support to the sales team, ensuring they meet or exceed sales goals.
- Foster a customer-centric culture and encourage upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
- Assist the General Manager with overseeing day-to-day operations of the store, including opening and closing procedures.
Staff Management:
- Assist the General Manager with training, and developing a high-performing team of sales associates.
- Assist the General manager in setting clear performance expectations, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance evaluations.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, collaboration, and employee engagement.
- Work with the General Manager to address employee concerns, resolve conflicts, and administer disciplinary actions if necessary.
Customer Service:
- Uphold DL Cabinetry's commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
- Train and empower the sales team to deliver personalized service and build strong customer relationships.
- Resolve customer complaints or issues in a timely and satisfactory manner.
- Leverage the expertise of our design specialists to offer valuable guidance to customers.
Financial Management:
- Prepare and manage the store's budget, ensuring effective cost control and resource allocation.
- Monitor expenses, sales figures, and profitability, and take appropriate actions to optimize performance.
- Analyze financial reports, identify trends, and implement strategies to increase profitability.
- Collaborate with senior management to develop sales forecasts, marketing initiatives, and business expansion plans.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, retail management, or a related field (preferred).
- Previous leadership experience within the retail industry.
- Strong knowledge of retail operations, sales strategies, and customer service principles.
- Ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in using point-of-sale (POS) systems and other retail software.
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle challenging situations.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Work Environment:
- Showroom setting with frequent customer interaction.
- Regular business hours: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $54, $57,600.00 per year
