About The Role
As a
*Plumbing Project Manager*
at Airo Mechanical, you will be a key player in overseeing and managing the successful execution of our mechanical projects. You will lead a dedicated team, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact in the field of mechanical construction.
What You'll Do
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
- Lead and motivate project teams, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure project success.
- Foster strong client relationships through effective communication and regular project updates.
- Manage project budgets, monitor expenditures, and control costs to maximize profitability.
- Ensure that all project work adheres to industry standards and company quality guidelines.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions.
- Monitor project schedules and make necessary adjustments to meet deadlines.
- Oversee contracts, change orders, and subcontracts, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
- Maintain a strong focus on safety, implementing safety protocols, and promoting a culture of safety on-site.
- Provide regular project status reports to senior management and stakeholders.
- Utilize email and technology systems for project documentation, communication, and management.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the mechanical construction industry.
- Experience with email and project management software for effective communication and documentation.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, codes, and best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality work.
- PMP or similar certification is a plus.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at a time.
- The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand.
- Constantly works in outdoor weather conditions.
- Ability to use technology systems for communication and project management.
- Frequently remains in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
- Frequently makes substantial repetitive movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
- Frequently moves and raises materials weighing up to 20 pounds.
- Frequently communicates with the public (e.g., potential clients, job candidates, vendors) via phone, email, and in-person, as well as colleagues, on assigned tasks and projects.
