Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Dog Resort Operations Manager with a minimum of 3 years in managing grooming, daycare, and boarding facilities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in pet care and customer service, ensuring the highest standards of safety and satisfaction for both pets and their owners. This role requires effective leadership skills to manage staff, oversee daily operations, and maintain a welcoming environment for all guests.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the dog resort, including grooming, daycare, and boarding services.
- Manage staff schedules, training, and performance evaluations to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while maintaining a clean and organized facility.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly.
- Monitor the well-being of all animals in care, ensuring proper handling and care protocols are followed.
- Collaborate with veterinary professionals as needed to address health concerns or emergencies.
- Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment necessary for daily operations.
Skills
- Strong dog handling skills with experience in animal care and restraint techniques.
- Knowledge of dog training methods and behavioral understanding to support pet development.
- Experience in veterinary settings as a technician or assistant is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in pet grooming practices to maintain the aesthetic needs of guests.
- Excellent customer service skills to foster positive relationships with clients.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required when handling large breeds or equipment.
