Hi Tech Security is a Licensed & Insured, Low Voltage Security System's Integration Company that has focused on servicing Commercial, Industrial and Government Institutions for the past 19 years. We are currently looking for experienced and talented Technicians to join our Team.

A Low Voltage Technician will be responsible for the Custom Installation and Servicing of

NEW and Existing CCTV Security Camera Systems, Burglar Alarm Systems and Access

Control Systems. Also, the Technician is responsible for servicing for Commercial Security Customers.

Qualified candidates must be self-motivated, well spoken, well groomed, have a clean background, good driving history, and excellent customer service skills.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

• At least 3-5 years of experience in Low Voltage Wiring.
• Knowledge of Low Voltage Electrical Wiring.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Criminal Background Check Required.
• Work assignments are both indoors and outdoors.
• Valid State of Florida Driver's License.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Experience with Analog & Digital IP CCTV Security Camera Systems: Such as DVR's and NVR's, Analog and IP Security Cameras.
• Capable of solving Software and Network conflicts, recognizing IP scheme layouts, understanding low-voltage systems and their proper functions.
• Networking equipment, wireless point-to-point, remote or on-site support of switches, and routers.
• Experience with Burglar Alarm Systems, Access control systems and other Low Voltage Systems is Preferred, yet not required.
• Read and interpret electrical diagrams and schematics.
• Excellent Communication and Customer Service Skills.
• Self-motivated/ fast learner/ team player with the ability to master new technologies.
• Attention to detail, good problem-solving abilities, common sense and sound judgment.

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:

• Knowledge of RG59, 18-2, CAT5E and or CAT6 Wiring
• Knowledge of Analog, TVI and IP Security Camera Systems
• Knowledge of DVRs & NVRs
• Knowledge of Low Voltage Power Wiring, 12V, 24V and AMPS.
• Basic Knowledge of LAN / WAN Networks
• Basic Knowledge of Modems, Routers & Network Switches
• Basic Knowledge of Firewalls, Port Forwarding, NAT, DDNS, Network Programming,

Etc.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES REQUIRED:

• Load and unload site equipment, supplies and tools for ALL Installations.
• Install equipment and run and pull cable, wiring and conduit.
• Responsible for programming and calibrating equipment.
• Responsible for adhering to ALL Electrical and Life Safety Codes.
• Assist in identifying and correcting problems so that system is in full working order.
• Provide operation training to customer of installed equipment and answer any questions.
• Must clean up job site to condition that existed before installation.
• Maintain a safe and secure work environment by following safe practices.
• Follow direction of Supervisor and established lead for the job.
• Drive and maintain company vehicle.
• Keep Company Vehicle Clean and organized appearance.
• Maintain ALL Inventory and Tools in an organized manner.

JOB TYPE: Full-Time

PAY / COMPENSATION: $41,600 to $56,160 Yearly ($20-27 Hourly) (Depending on Relevant Work Experience)

BONUSES: Performance, Incentive & Holiday Bonuses Available

SCHEDULE: Monday to Friday

EXPERIENCE: 3-5 years (Preferred)

LICENSE: BASA/FASA (Preferred, Not Required)

WORK LOCATION: Initially report to the Main Office, yet projects are located at various multiple locations
