About Us:

At Charleston OT, we're committed to delivering high-quality, individualized care to children and families across the Lowcountry. Our approach blends evidence-based pediatric occupational therapy with a holistic understanding of the child—supporting not only physical development but emotional and sensory well-being. Our focus is on neuromaturation through integration of the primitive reflexes.

We provide services in both clinic and community-based settings, which allows for meaningful carryover into real-life environments and helps us meet families exactly where they are. We currently have clinic locations in: West Ashley, John's Island, Hollywood. Community-based visits are based on therapist location. We serve the following areas: West ashley/Downtown, John's Island, James Island, North Charleston, Goose Creek, Summerville, Moncks Corner.

We offer a combination of traditional and holistic therapy services. While we provide specialized training in areas like primitive reflex integration and nervous system regulation, our core mission is to provide skilled, collaborative therapy that creates lasting change for the families we serve.

Position Overview:

We're looking for a passionate, motivated Occupational Therapist to join our growing team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct individualized pediatric evaluations and implement goal-directed treatment plans.
  • Deliver high-quality therapy in both clinic and community settings (home, school, daycare).
  • Collaborate with families and team members to support carryover and whole-child progress.
  • Document sessions and adjust interventions based on child progress and clinical judgment.
  • Participate in regular mentorship and contribute to a supportive, growth-focused team culture.

What We're Looking For:

  • Licensed Occupational Therapist (SC or eligible)
  • Strong desire to provide high-quality, child- and family-centered care
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Comfort working independently and as part of a supportive team
  • Willingness to travel for community-based sessions (within service area)

Nice to Have (Not Required):

  • Experience or interest in sensory integration, reflex integration, or trauma-informed care
  • Early intervention or home-based services experience
  • Passion for holistic, whole-child approaches
