Well-established home furnishing company specializing in the design, manufacturing, import, and distribution of premium home furnishings worldwide. We are seeking a Shipping and Logistics Manager to oversee and optimize our outbound, inbound, and reverse logistics operations across the U.S., India, and our global partner facilities.
Position Summary
The Shipping and Logistics Manager is responsible for managing all shipping, logistics, and warehouse operations, ensuring smooth coordination between internal teams and external partners. This includes oversight of freight cost management, invoice tracking, team performance, process development, and systems optimization related to logistics and inventory.
Familiarity with NetSuite, WMS systems, and EDI/API shipment integrations is essential. Punctuality, reliability, and leadership are key to maintaining our operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Logistics Management
- Manage all outbound shipments from ACG Green Group facilities and partner warehouses (U.S., India, and 3PL partners).
- Oversee all reverse logistics shipments and inbound freight.
- Track inbound/outbound revenue, invoices, and freight costs internally and with partners.
- Maintain and optimize freight budgets and shipping costs.
- Oversee ERP software and other technical infrastructure related to logistics.
Team & Partner Management
- Lead logistics teams in Irvine, CA, Morganton, NC, and Bangalore, India.
- Coordinate workload balance, daily operations, and team advisement.
- Partner with internal departments and external partners (retailers, 3PLs, freight companies).
- Represent ACG interests in meetings and manage partnerships such as , YQN, and 3PLs.
Process Development
- Develop, maintain, and enforce departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and manuals.
- Participate in systems projects related to shipping, logistics, inventory, and order management.
Daily Responsibilities
- Oversee logistics operations: order import, entry, open sales/invoices, pending freight, and returns.
- Conduct inventory reviews and reconciliation.
- Coordinate with warehouse teams for freight labeling, loading, and shipment accuracy.
Weekly Responsibilities
- Lead biweekly meetings with U.S. and India teams to review progress and address challenges.
- Clear aging orders and invoices.
- Provide project status updates and performance reports.
Monthly Responsibilities
- Attend interdepartmental and partner meetings (retail, freight, 3PL, warehousing).
- Review and assess partner invoices and cost structures.
- Conduct returns team meetings and review warehouse inventory cycle counts.
- Present monthly logistics and performance reports to management.
Quarterly & Special Tasks
- Prepare shipping cost analyses and logistics reports.
- Manage specialty shipments (promotions, samples, gifts).
- Oversee order management for cremation and specialty partners.
- Perform performance reviews, compliance training, and other managerial duties.
- Support day-to-day operations and order fulfillment as needed.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or equivalent experience (logistics or supply chain certification preferred).
- Proficiency with NetSuite, WMS, and EDI/API systems is required.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in shipping/logistics or e-commerce operations.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to manage multiple teams across regions.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Pay: $78, $84,206.86 per year
