As a Technical Operations Manager, you will be accountable for managing the technical operations of multiple centers, which includes planning, staff management, budget management, maintaining relationships with referring groups, and on-going customer service functions. This position is responsible for meeting the quality and operational goals (i.e. efficiency, productivity, costs, etc.) for their assigned centers.
This is a full-time day
shifts
40-hours work week.
Job Summary
The Manager, Technical Operations is responsible for managing the technical operations of multiple centers, which includes planning, team member management, budget management, maintaining relationships with referring groups, and on-going customer service functions. This position is responsible for meeting the quality and operational goals (i.e. efficiency, productivity, costs, etc.) for their assigned center(s).

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
(50%) Center Operations

  • Remain visible at Centers and understands the Center's team member engagement level and workload
  • Implement programs, goals and objectives, and policies and procedures necessary for providing quality care and maintaining a sound Operation
  • Analyze the operations of assigned Centers as related to staffing, utilization of facilities, equipment and supplies, and recommends and implements solutions and changes
  • Develop and manage the budget for the technical operations(s) and recommends financial decisions for the Center
  • Monitor the performance and profitability of services offered
  • Provide ongoing and timely communication to management and team members regarding Center performance, team member performance, events, issues, etc.
  • In partnership with the Manager, Administrative Operations on Market initiatives and on-going operations
  • Interface with Radiologists to create and maintain up-to-date protocol manuals for all modalities
  • Maintains productive relationships with center's customer base in defined market through delivery of extraordinary customer service
  • Attends sales calls and lunch meetings with the sales team, providing operations knowledge
  • Administers quality programs and meets or exceeds key quality and productivity measures in patient service, customer (referral) service, clinical programs, and administrative functions
  • Maintains a safe environment for patients, technologists, radiologists and any other center team members with the assistance of the center safety coordinator
  • Ensures compliance with all HIPAA guidelines

(45%) Team Member Management

  • Oversee and assist with the training of new team members and supervisors, providing resource and technical expertise
  • Participate in team member performance management and evaluations, compensation recommendations and development.
  • Develops coaches and provides training opportunities for all direct reports based on assessment of individual needs to ensure critical leadership development
  • Leads regular team meetings and team member one-on-one discussions
  • Supports and conducts training efforts for continuing education for the technologists and nurses
  • Ensures all technologists are compliant with CEU (continuing education) credits, in good standing with appropriate registries, updated with CPR credits, etc.
  • Implement strategies to promote teamwork within the Center and Market
  • Collaborate with Chief Technologists to build high performing and engaged teams

(5%) Completes additional tasks and projects as assigned

Required
SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma, or equivalent
  • Associate's degree in radiologic technology, registered nursing, or a Graduate of an American Medical

Association (AMA) accredited sonography program, or Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health

Education Programs (CAAHEP), or another closely related and applicable healthcare/medical field

  • ARRT Radiologic Technologist Certification, RN Licensure, or registered American Registry for

Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) sonographer, current and in good standing

  • Sonography certification in imaging specialty (AB, BR, ObGyn, etc.)
  • Five (5) years' related medical experience
  • Three (3) years' experience managing a team of direct reports
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.
  • Some travel is required between sites; a reliable means of transportation is required.

Preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in a related and applicable healthcare/medical field
  • Sonography certification as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT/VT)
  • Five (5) years' experience with medical out-patient radiology imaging
