As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal at a retail location, you will conduct regular patrols and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. This role requires carrying a firearm and operating a vehicle as part of your duties. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, while maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and observe for any unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, incidents, and/or any emergencies as required by site protocols.
• Assist local law enforcement and/or emergency personnel during incidents when necessary, following all Allied Universal guidelines.
• Carry and maintain control of assigned firearms and security-related equipment according to company and legal requirements.
• Communicate clearly with team members, management, and site personnel to support a secure environment for all.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
