Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for a Safety Specialist based in the SCE North Coast Area. The Safety Specialist will oversee and implement health and safety protocols, conduct training sessions, ensure compliance with environmental safety regulations. They will also take charge of accident investigations and ensure corrective measures are implemented to minimize future risks. Continuous development and improvement of safety procedures will be critical responsibilities in this role.
Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience in Health & Safety practices and policies.
- Expertise in Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) regulations and Occupational Health principles.
- Proficiency in developing and delivering Safety Training programs effectively.
- Skills in conducting thorough Accident Investigations and implementing corrective measures.
- Strong communication and leadership skills to promote a culture of safety and compliance.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively and efficiently in an on-site team environment.
