Sales Executive- Cyber Security

Our client, a growth-stage cyber security services firm focused on helping organizations identify and remediate weaknesses in their technology and processes before attackers can exploit them.
Offerings include:
- Security testing of applications, networks, and cloud environments
- Human-focused attack simulations and security awareness support
- Advanced, goal-oriented attack simulations against critical assets
Support clients ranging from mid-market organizations to large, regulated enterprises across sectors such as financial services, healthcare, technology, and critical infrastructure.
We are seeking a Cybersecurity Sales Executive who can drive net-new revenue and expand existing relationships by positioning assessment and testing services that materially improve our customers' security posture.
Core Responsibilities
- Drive the full sales cycle from prospecting through close for security assessment and testing engagements.
- Build, maintain, and progress a qualified pipeline of SMB, mid-market, and enterprise opportunities.
- Lead discovery conversations to understand business context, technical environment, risk priorities, and regulatory drivers.
- Partner with technical team members to define appropriate scopes for security assessments across various environments (e.g., applications, networks, cloud, user-focused testing, advanced attack simulations).
- Present and articulate the business value of our services to senior technology and security leadership as well as procurement stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate pipeline data, forecasts, and activity notes in the CRM.
- Represent the company at relevant virtual and in-person events to cultivate brand awareness and new relationships.
Profile of the Successful Candidate
- Demonstrated success selling cybersecurity or closely related technology/security services.
- Familiarity with common regulatory and security guideline landscapes (e.g., U.S. and international standards, industry-specific compliance needs).
- Working understanding of offensive security and assessment concepts, including:
- Evaluation of external and internal network exposures
- Application-level security reviews (web, mobile, APIs)
- Security considerations in major cloud platforms
- Human-factor testing such as phishing and social engineering
- End-to-end attack simulation engagements with defined objectives
- Strong consultative selling capabilities, with the ability to translate technical capabilities into business outcomes for both technical and executive stakeholders.
- Self-directed, motivated by achieving and surpassing targets, and comfortable operating in a dynamic, growing organization.
Preferred Extras
- Established relationships with senior security and technology leaders.
- Experience driving revenue through channel partners or service providers.
- Awareness of advanced practitioner-level security certifications (not required, but beneficial for credibility in technical discussions).
