Senior Project Manager – Commercial, Industrial & Retail Construction

Job Summary
We are seeking an accomplished and highly organized Senior Project Manager to lead complex Commercial, Industrial, and Retail construction projects from concept through completion. In this pivotal role, you will oversee preconstruction planning, design coordination, field execution, and project closeout—ensuring every initiative meets contractual obligations, client expectations, and operational targets for safety, quality, cost, and schedule.
This position is ideal for a hands-on leader with deep experience in estimating, scheduling, risk management, and modern construction technology. Your ability to coordinate diverse teams and drive accountability will support the continued growth and reputation of our organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project management for commercial, industrial, and retail builds, including planning, estimating, execution, and closeout.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or equivalent platforms.
- Oversee construction estimating processes to accurately forecast labor, materials, equipment, and resource requirements using HeavyBid or similar tools.
- Manage contracts, change orders, procurement, and vendor relationships to maintain cost control and mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers (including Civil 3D design teams), subcontractors, and owners to ensure technical alignment and seamless project coordination.
- Uphold safety, quality, and compliance standards through active site monitoring, drawing reviews, and daily communication with field teams.
- Utilize Procore, Bluebeam, and other construction management software for documentation, reporting, and team collaboration.
- Conduct regular jobsite visits to verify progress, address field challenges, and ensure adherence to project specifications.
- Prepare and deliver routine project reports covering budget status, schedule performance, milestones, risks, and overall project health.
- Facilitate internal and external meetings, driving communication, accountability, and execution throughout all project phases.
- Ensure all deliverables meet local codes, project specifications, sustainability requirements, and contractual obligations.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated success managing mid- to large-scale commercial, industrial, or retail construction projects.
- Strong background in construction estimating with experience in HeavyBid or comparable tools.
- Advanced scheduling expertise using Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar systems; ability to interpret complex schematics and technical drawings.
- Proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, and other industry-standard construction management platforms.
- Strong skills in blueprint reading, contract administration, and interpretation of Civil 3D design documents.
- Hands-on field experience with a deep understanding of safety protocols, logistics, and site management.
- Ability to manage multiple active projects simultaneously while maintaining high attention to detail.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to guide cross-functional teams and coordinate with all project stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills—verbal, written, and client-facing.
Pay: $140, $200,000.00 per year
