Overview

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Route Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering products to our customers while maintaining excellent service standards. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to upsell products during deliveries. As a Route Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction and contributing to the growth of our business.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate your personal vehicle to deliver products along designated routes.
  • Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and provide exceptional service.
  • Upsell additional products during deliveries by identifying customer needs and presenting suitable options.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including quantities, prices, and any discrepancies.
  • Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
  • Utilize basic math skills to calculate delivery quantities
  • Drive efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to report customer feedback and identify potential sales opportunities.

Skills

  • Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
  • valid driver's license.
  • Ability to upsell products based on customer needs and preferences.
  • Proficient in basic math for handling pricing and inventory calculations.
  • Familiarity with route driving techniques to optimize delivery efficiency.
  • Cleaning, refilling, restocking servicing and maintaining of coffee and water machines
  • Sales experience is a plus, particularly in identifying opportunities during customer interactions.
  • A disciplined approach to work, reflecting qualities such as militarise in punctuality and professionalism.
