Barback and Busser

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Barback to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced nightclub environment. The Barback will assist bartenders in providing exceptional service and maintaining a clean, organized bar area. This role is vital to ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable experience while enjoying their time at our establishment.

Duties

• Support bartenders by preparing and restocking supplies, including ice, garnishes, and glassware.
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
• Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring all items are ready for service.
• Buss tables and clear away used dishes and glassware to keep the area tidy.
• Operate POS systems (Aloha POS or Micros POS) for processing orders and managing transactions.
• Provide excellent customer service by interacting with guests in a friendly manner and addressing any inquiries or needs.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food service during events or busy periods.
• Assist with banquet setups and breakdowns as required for special events or catering services.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the food industry, particularly in restaurants, nightclubs, or hotels is preferred.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
• Knowledge of food handling and safety practices is essential.
• Experience with cashiering and cash handling procedures is a plus.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A background in hospitality or serving is highly desirable.

Pay: $ $24.40 per hour
