Our client, a leading organization in retail technology, is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer Level 2 to join their team. As a Site Reliability Engineer Level 2, you will be part of the Infrastructure Support team supporting Fulfillment Technology solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Pay Range
What's the Job?

  • Ensure the availability, performance, and reliability of Fulfillment Technology systems for Kroger's omni-channel strategy.
  • Collaborate with development, testing, and operations teams to design and maintain scalable, reliable solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production environments using monitoring, logging, and incident management tools.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of DevOps practices, including CI/CD, configuration management, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Lead major incident responses and provide clear communication to stakeholders during critical outages.

What's Needed?

  • 4+ years of experience in cloud SRE, DevOps, or infrastructure roles.
  • Proficiency with databases, web applications, micro-services, messaging systems, and REST APIs.
  • Strong knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, Cassandra, and SQL Server.
  • Experience scripting with Python or Shell scripting.
  • Hands-on experience with observability tools such as DynaTrace, ELK, Datadog, or Grafana.
