Job Title: Manual Machinist

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule: 8 hour shift Monday-Friday 7 am- 3:30 pm

Summary: Set up and run manual mills with Prototrak retrofits to fabricate components to meet customer requirements. Able to use manual lathes and grinders as needed. This will be done through performing the following duties.

Duties & Responsibilities:

· Studies blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample part to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpiece, sequence of operations, and setup requirements

· Uses blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample part to create tooling and fixtures to load on various machines.

· Selects, aligns, and secures holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines as necessary to machine parts as required.

· Starts and observes machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining, and adjusts machine controls or control media as required.

· Verifies conformance of finished work-piece to specifications, using measuring and inspection tools as necessary.

· Comply with safety regulations and maintain a clean and orderly work area

· Responsible for bringing tools needed for basic job functions.

Education & experience:

  • Manufacturing environment minimum 5 years
  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Pay: $ $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
