Join our team as a Student Nurse Extern and gain invaluable hands-on experience in an acute care setting You'll work directly under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, assisting with patient care and growing your clinical skills. This is the perfect opportunity for a nursing student who's passionate about learning and eager to make a difference in patient care.
What You'll Do
Assist licensed personnel in delivering top-notch patient care
Apply what you've learned in your nursing program to real-world situations
Learn from experienced Registered Nurses and gain valuable insights
Be part of a compassionate, dynamic healthcare team
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
Nursing student currently enrolled in an accredited nursing program, pursuing an associate's or bachelor's degree in nursing
Successfully completed the fundamentals of nursing course (lecture & clinical) with demonstrated competency in basic skills
Confirmation of enrollment in a nursing program as a full-time student required each semester
Must maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Maintain a 3.0 GPA or higher while enrolled in your nursing program
Complete all SNE competency training and education within 90 days of hire
Minimum Requirements
Enrollment in an accredited nursing program
Completion of fundamental nursing courses and demonstrated clinical competency
Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced acute care environment
