Job Responsibilities

• Fabricate prototype parts by programming & operating a Routech Accord 20 FX 5-axis CNC with a Xilog Plus Operator Interface (work piece geometry programming, automatic execution of a program, subprograms, DXF files import, machining optimizer, multi-tool equipment management, dynamic control of accelerations)
• Set up & Program CNC equipment using CAD/CAM software
• Optimize CNC tooling feeds and speeds with various materials.
• Work effectively as a team member and manage multiple priorities independently
• Communicate progress on assigned work to achieve required timelines
• Maintain an organized and clean work environment
• Follow required safety, ergonomic, and environmental procedures
• Build part clamping fixtures using appropriate materials and tools
• Conduct quality checks to confirm the accuracy of the work completed
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Technical degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in CNC Programming and Machining
• CNC programming ability for Routech Accord 20 FX 5-axis CNC control system & MasterCAM
• Knowledgeable with fixture and tool design
• Advanced blueprint reading capabilities
• Proficient with the selection of tooling for a broad range of materials
• Able to work flexible hours to support prototype builds
• Excellent attention to detail, communication, and customer focus skills
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
• Proficient with hand and power tools
• Fenestration / Window product knowledge a plus

COMPENSATION:
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to work experience, education, geographic location, certifications, etc. Your recruiter can share more about the specific compensation package for your preferred role during the hiring process. Successful candidates in this role are expected to earn $61,760 - $92,640.

PROFIT SHARING:
In 2025 Andersen has set a profit sharing target of $3,500 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
