Independence Plus has an immediate opening for a Healthcare Recruiter. This is a full-time position, working out of our Oak Brook, IL (DuPage County) office. This position will report to the Recruiting & Scheduling Manager. The Healthcare Recruiter will be responsible for sourcing, recruiting, and assisting in the onboarding of nurses.

Essential Job Functions And Responsibilities

  • Proactively searches and works on multiple recruitment sources on a daily basis in search of nurses
  • Interviews, screens, and schedules potential nursing candidates
  • Researches and initiates new avenues to find quality applicants
  • Attend Career Fairs and other hiring events to promote our openings and market our services
  • Other duties as assigned and as required to fully perform the responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or relevant industry experience preferred
  • Strong sense of internal motivation and drive to hit departmental goals
  • Good organizational skills
  • Excellent phone and interpersonal skills
  • Punctual and reliable
  • Adapts well to changes within a growing company
  • Demonstrates a functional level of proficiency with computers and the following software: Microsoft Office Suite, online recruiting tools
