Role Overview
This position will be a visionary strategic and creative leader for our Social team within a variety of marketing verticals, accomplishing nothing less than solidifying Modern Logic's position as one of the go to destinations for clients to solve their social media needs. This pivotal role requires an individual with a strong passion for storytelling, a keen eye for culture, a deep understanding of brand identity, and a tireless drive for creative excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a thought partner and advisor to senior executives on all matters related to social media strategy and its integration with overall business and marketing goals. Influence high-level decision-making through data-driven insights and creative foresight.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive creator roadmap to align influencer partnerships with brand objectives and long-term growth strategy.
- Lead the ideation, development, and implementation of innovative, high-impact global social campaigns that elevate the brand. Collaborate closely with the Creative and Marketing Strategy teams to ensure cohesive brand messaging and execution across all creative formats.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a global team of social media strategists, creatives, and regional heads.
- Cultivate a culture of excellence, innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning by modeling our guiding principles and setting the people strategy for the function.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key platform partners (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Twitter, etc.), ensuring opportunities for early access to new features, tools, and insights.
- Oversee the creation of compelling, culturally relevant brand social content that strengthens audience engagement and loyalty. Leverage storytelling to enhance the emotional connection between partner's global audiences and our content.
- Define key metrics for social success globally. Build a robust reporting framework that provides clear insights into social performance, campaign impact, audience growth, and ROI.
- Use data to continuously refine strategy and optimize content performance.
- Establish protocols for social media risk and reputation management, ensuring partners are protected during potential crises or sensitive cultural moments.
- Work closely with content, creative, brand, product, PR, and media teams to ensure social strategies support business objectives, content releases, and user engagement goals. Align with internal teams to support all global marketing initiatives and launches.
Qualifications
- 15+ years of social media, digital marketing, or related experience, with at least 8 years in a senior leadership capacity, driving global strategies for multinational brands. A proven track record of owning large-scale social ecosystems with a focus on both brand and performance.
- Exceptional ability to blend creativity with strategic thinking, translating brand goals into groundbreaking social strategies. A forward-looking mindset to identify industry shifts and maintain the brand's competitive edge.
- Proven experience working with C-suite executives and managing relationships with senior stakeholders across global functions. Ability to influence key decisions at the highest level.
- Deep experience working across multiple international markets, with a nuanced understanding of regional social media usage, cultural trends, and content consumption behaviors.
- Strong command of data analytics and measurement frameworks. Ability to translate performance metrics into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
- A visionary with a keen eye for design, content creation, and storytelling, ensuring that partner's social media presence consistently delivers best-in-class experiences.
- Skilled at managing high-pressure situations and handling public relations crises with agility, professionalism, and brand sensitivity.
- A self-starter who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, constantly seeking out ways to innovate and disrupt in the social media space.
- Highly accomplished leadership ability towards achieving the highest standards of team performance including attracting and developing diverse talent and delivering breakthrough team results.
- Passion for advertising and a deep understanding of consumer behavior and market trends in various industries
