Overview

We are seeking a talented and versatile Industrial Designer and 3D Printing Technician to join our dynamic team. In this hybrid role, you will combine creative design expertise with technical proficiency in 3D printing to support product development, prototyping, and production processes. The ideal candidate is passionate about innovation, has a keen eye for detail, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where ideas turn into tangible products.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with clients and internal teams to conceptualize and design industrial products, focusing on functionality, aesthetics, and manufacturability.

Create detailed 3D models and prototypes using CAD software (Fusion 360).

Operate and maintain 3D printing equipment, including setup, calibration, printing, and post-processing of parts.

Optimize designs for additive manufacturing, ensuring efficiency in material use, print time, and quality.

Conduct material testing, troubleshooting, and iterative improvements to prototypes.

Document design processes, technical specifications, and project outcomes for client deliverables.

Stay updated on emerging trends in industrial design, 3D printing technologies, and sustainable materials.

Support quality control, ensuring all outputs meet client specifications and industry standards.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Experience in industrial design, with a portfolio showcasing product development from concept to prototype.

Proven hands-on experience as a 3D printing technician, including familiarity with various printers (e.g., FDM, SLA, SLS) and materials (plastics, resins, metals).

Proficiency in CAD/CAM software and 3D modeling tools; experience with slicing software..

Strong understanding of design principles, ergonomics, and manufacturing constraints.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented setting.

Basic knowledge of CNC operations is preferred but not required.
