The Opportunity: Sales Trainer & Field Development Specialist

We are seeking an experienced, results-oriented Sales Trainer & Field Development Specialist to elevate the performance of our Direct Marketing and B2B Field Specialists. This role is a crucial blend of in-the-field coaching, curriculum development, and talent identification.

We are committed to promoting from within, but we are specifically looking to fast-track candidates for this role who are highly motivated and demonstrate an immediate aptitude for training and mentorship. You will be responsible for shortening the learning curve for new hires, driving adherence to best practices, and ensuring our field teams consistently hit high performance metrics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Field Coaching & Development: Spend significant time in the field, actively shadowing and coaching Direct Marketing and B2B Specialists on prospecting techniques, effective communication, objection handling, and closing strategies.
  • Curriculum Delivery: Lead and facilitate new-hire onboarding sessions and ongoing professional development workshops focused on Arten GC's construction services, sales process, and CRM usage.
  • Performance Analysis: Identify specific performance gaps within individuals and teams. Develop targeted training interventions (e.g., role-playing, focused drills) to address these weaknesses and improve key sales metrics.
  • Material Creation: Continuously update and create engaging training materials, including manuals, scripts, presentations, and digital learning modules for both B2C (door-to-door) and B2B approaches.
  • Talent Identification: Work closely with Management to identify high-potential specialists ready for advancement and provide focused mentorship to prepare them for future leadership roles.
  • Compliance & Consistency: Ensure all sales personnel are trained and consistently executing the Arten GC sales process in compliance with all company and industry regulations.

QualificationsRequired:

  • Experience: 2+ years of successful experience in direct sales, field marketing, or door-to-door sales (preferably in construction, home improvement, or a high-ticket service industry).
  • Training Aptitude: Proven ability to teach, motivate, and mentor others. Strong presentation skills and comfort leading both small group sessions and one-on-one coaching.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex processes clearly and concisely.
  • Logistics: Reliable personal transportation and a valid driver's license. Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned regional territory.
  • Work Ethic: Highly disciplined, self-motivated, and comfortable maintaining a schedule that balances office training time with significant time spent in the field.

Preferred:

  • Prior experience as a formal Sales Trainer, Sales Manager, or Field Coach.
  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and CRM software (Acculynx, Companycam, hailrecon, , and hailtrace)
