Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. Only Certified Medical Assistants with an active license need apply. In this role, you will provide essential support to physicians and other healthcare professionals while ensuring high-quality patient care. You will work in a fast-paced environment, assisting with various clinical and administrative tasks to enhance patient service and streamline operations.

Responsibilities

  • Assist healthcare providers in the examination and treatment of patients.
  • Perform medication administration as directed by physicians, ensuring adherence to safety protocols To include injections.
  • Conduct patient assessments, including taking vital signs and documenting medical histories.
  • Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, providing comfort and support throughout the process.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care instructions.
  • Support the operational needs of the clinic, including managing inventory and sterilizing equipment.
  • Answering the telephone, scheduling patients, and working in an EMR system for clinical records
  • Venipuncture skills are a MUST

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of and patient care practices.
  • Experience working in a clinical setting prior for 3-5 years.
  • Proficient in medication administration techniques and medicine protocols.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare staff.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • A commitment to providing exceptional patient service and fostering a supportive healthcare environment.

Pay: $ $17.50 per hour
