Summary/Description:

We are seeking a Senior Director of Plant Operations to oversee the maintenance and operational efficiency of our senior living campuses in Milwaukee. This pivotal role ensures our facilities remain safe, functional, and welcoming, supporting our mission to deliver exceptional care.

Under the direction of the VP of Operations, the Director of Plant Operations is responsible for the coordination of Maintenance, Plant Operations and Grounds. This position actively participates in annual Capital Planning and is responsible for completing the work within established budgets during the fiscal year. This position acts as liaison with other managed properties, departments and outside vendors. The Director of Plant Operations ensures that departmental activities are conducted in accordance with applicable federal and state regulations and Trinity Senior Services policies. The Director is responsible for maintaining a preventative maintenance program and ensuring that the preventative maintenance schedule meets the expectations of the customer. The Director is responsible for the general appearance of all properties. The Director of Plant Operations is responsible for the day to day oversight of Plant Operations of Milwaukee Catholic Home.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the maintenance team at the Milwaukee Catholic Home campus to ensure all facilities are well-maintained and compliant with safety regulations.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
  • Oversee renovation projects, repairs, and upgrades ensuring timely completion within budget.
  • Collaborate with administrative staff to ensure operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Ensure all health, safety, and environmental standards are strictly adhered to.
  • Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for supplies and services.
  • Monitor facility operations budgets and optimize resource allocation.
  • Promote a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

  • Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in facilities management within senior living or healthcare environments.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams.
  • Excellent knowledge of building systems, safety regulations, and compliance standards.
  • Budget management experience.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Effective communication skills with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or related field preferred but not required.
