REQUIREMENTS

Must have reliable transportation to Santa Monica- 3rd Street Promenade

Must be able to work a minimum of 3 shifts per week.

Must be able to work weekends and evenings (as late as 11pm or 12am)

Job Summary

We are seeking awesome ice cream scoopers to work in our front of house (FOH) in our beautiful scoop shops.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

● Greeting and helping customers

● Provide stellar customer service and hospitality

● Scooping delicious ice cream with precision, making milkshakes, sundaes, cookie sandwiches, and filling pints

● Maintaining cleanliness and organization standards of the shop

● Operating the point of sale system and handling cash

● Opening and closing duties as needed

Additional Notes/Schedule Requirement

● Must be available to work daytime, evenings, weekends and holidays or as needed by the business.

Minimum Qualifications

● Basic math skills and ability to use a point-of-sale system .

● Weekend availability a must

● Firm belief in the value of being genuinely hospitable to all customers

● A commitment to creating a hospitality driven culture within your shop

● Leads by example

● Ability to adapt to a flexible schedule according to business needs - including evenings, weekends, and holidays

● Detail oriented

● Loves and/or has great respect for ice cream - Especially the finest ice creams

● Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S

Physical Demands and Work Environment

● Ability to stand for lengthy periods of time

● Climbing up and down ladders or stairs from time to time

● Ability to lift up to 40 pounds

Working Environment

● Exposure to extreme cold when working near freezers

● Dress code is appropriate casual - McConnell's uniform
