Flexible Working: This is a hybrid working role, therefore your time will primarily be split between working from home (in the UK) and London Head Office / Bracknell Head Office.
However, there will also be an expectation to visit other locations as the need arises. Our Engineering team currently works from the office roughly twice a week to connect and on a more ad-hoc basis to attend key meetings, but again the frequency is dependent on the business needs.
Expected Salary: £59,500 - £92,000 (depending upon experience)
Contract type: Permanent.
Your team
As a Lead Analyst, you'll be integrated into a dynamic, cross-functional team structure, which may be organised around a specific Product. These teams are built for end-to-end ownership, bringing together diverse expertise to solve complex challenges. You will collaborate closely with key roles such as a Product Manager, a Delivery Lead, Software Engineers and Quality Engineers. This setup fosters rapid iteration, shared accountability, and a direct impact on outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
As Lead Analyst within the Engineering profession, you will be a key enabler in the successful delivery of change within a Product team using comprehensively elicited and clearly defined requirements, as well as utilising methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches.
This role involves engaging throughout the entire project lifecycle, from initial discovery and shaping to the build and implementation phases, working closely with Product Managers, Project Managers, Delivery Leads, Architects, and other Engineers to ensure technical solutions align with business and operational objectives.
As well as eliciting and managing business, technical and operational requirements, you will be accountable for challenging scope and priorities to ensure optimal business value, understanding end-to-end business processes, identifying cross-team dependencies, and working with delivery teams on planning, prioritisation, and estimation.
As a Lead Analyst you will collaborate and share within the Analysis community as well as support other Analysts. You will work with a diverse range of technical and non-technical stakeholders which will require excellent communication skills. Advocating for improved analysis approaches will also require strong stakeholder management capability.
There are opportunities to become a people manager for your fellow Analysts and Engineers if that is something that appeals to you.
Learning new skills is extremely important to us. Analysts are expected to continuously improve their skills and keep abreast of the latest technologies and techniques. In return for this commitment you will be given the resources and support you need to help you with your learning journey.
Internally the role is known as Product Engineer (PL6).
