Travel and Leisure Co. is proud to announce our 2026 Summer Internship Program at our Corporate Office in Orlando, Florida.  As a Public Relations intern, you will support Travel + Leisure Co.'s communications team in amplifying brand stories across media, social platforms, and owned channels. This role includes assisting with press materials, tracking media coverage, coordinating influencer and partner collaborations, and helping execute PR events and campaigns. The ideal candidate is a strong writer with a passion for travel, an eye for detail, and a curiosity for how brands engage audiences. This internship offers hands-on experience within a global hospitality company and the opportunity to contribute to high-visibility projects throughout the summer.

In addition to the firsthand experience, the program features team projects, direct senior leadership exposure, and mentorship.  We are committed to providing a comprehensive experience with real-world training.  Our goal is to provide a quality internship while identifying future talent/leaders.

How You'll Shine:

  • Support development of press materials — Draft and edit press releases, media alerts, fact sheets, and briefing documents to support major announcements and campaigns.
  • Monitor and report on media coverage — Track brand mentions across print, digital, and social channels; compile daily/weekly reports; and identify emerging PR opportunities or issues.
  • Assist with internal and external partner relations — Help support ongoing collaborations with partners via meeting attendance and notetaking, follow up, ideation, and relationship building.
  • Contribute to PR events and activations — Provide planning and on-site support for press trips, media events, and experiential activations throughout the summer.
  • Manage content and administrative tasks — Maintain asset libraries, update editorial calendars, organize team documents, and support day-to-day communications operations.

What You'll Bring:

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in public relations or a related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • External Affairs experience
  • Agency and internal experience with communications
  • Ability to commit to the program beginning in May 2026 in Orlando Florida
  • Work in the Orlando corporate office M,T,W and be remote TH,F
