Position Summary
RJK Co. is looking for a Carpenter with a minimum of 2 years construction experience, preferably working on commercial properties. All candidates that apply must be physically capable be able to perform all job duties. Responsibilities include but are not limited to installing drywall, doors, drop ceilings, millwork and blocking . The ideal candidate is reliable, able to follow instructions , work efficiently and quickly learn new skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Report directly to the Construction Supervisor and collaborate with other carpenters.
- Maintain reliable transportation to ensure timely arrival at job sites.
- Work independently and manage tasks effectively.
- Standard work hours are 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, with opportunities for overtime.
- Job sites are located in and around the I-495 belt.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform commercial framing, drywall installation, and both rough and finish carpentry
- Maintain job site cleanliness
- Lift and move heavy materials regularly
- Assist with minor landscaping tasks
- Dress appropriately in company-provided shirts and hats, maintaining a presentable appearance
