Responsibilities

  • Advise clients on a wide range of legal issues including estate planning, family law, immigration law, environmental law, and tribal law & regulations.
  • Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case strategies and legal opinions.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, legal documents, pleadings, and other correspondence with precision and clarity.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, arbitrations, and negotiations to advocate for their rights effectively.
  • Manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining meticulous records of all activities and correspondence.
  • Stay current with changes in laws and regulations affecting practice areas such as securities law, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, patent law, and landlord-tenant law.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across departments to ensure cohesive legal strategies that align with organizational goals.

Requirements

  • Degree from an accredited law school and active license to practice law in relevant jurisdictions.
  • Proven experience in multiple practice areas including estate planning, environmental law, family law, immigration law, securities law, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, tribal law & regulations, litigation, and patent law.
  • Strong research skills utilizing LexisNexis and Westlaw platforms for comprehensive legal analysis.
  • Excellent writing skills with the ability to produce clear, concise legal drafting tailored to various audiences.
  • Demonstrated negotiation skills capable of resolving complex disputes efficiently.
  • Legal administrative experience managing case files, court filings, deadlines, and client communications effectively.
  • Familiarity with legal research tools such as Westlaw and LexisNexis is essential for supporting case development.
  • Exceptional attention to detail combined with the ability to interpret laws accurately and apply them practically.
