Position Overview

Cervos Medical is a fast-growing medical device startup seeking a Strategic Marketing Manager who excels in a fast-paced, hands-on environment—especially when bringing new and disruptive products to market. This role is critical in powering our commercial success by executing high-impact marketing initiatives, driving product launch execution, amplifying brand visibility across all marketing channels, and creating compelling, real-time content from customer interactions.

The core purpose of this role is to define and elevate Cervos' market voice—turning surgeon insight, market intelligence and field observations into strategic narratives and messaging that clearly articulates the value of our technologies and drives commercial growth.  This is a hands-on, creative, and tactical role for someone who loves being in the field, moving fast, tackling real-time challenges, and shaping new programs from scratch.

This role is strictly marketing-focused and does
not
include clinical education, sales training, or curriculum development.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation

  • Capture real-time field content—photos, videos, customer spotlights, success stories—to drive authentic storytelling.
  • Produce digital and print assets, including but not limited to copywriting, marketing collateral, social media, email campaigns, and website updates.
  • Develop, manage, and execute a cohesive social media strategy.
  • Collaborate with external agency partners when necessary for ad creative, video production, and key campaigns; help manage deliverables in a startup-lean environment.
  • Maintain and evolve brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all marketing assets.

Marketing Execution

  • Partner with sales, education, field enablement, product development and senior leadership to ensure market readiness.
  • Execute field marketing activities that support new product introductions, launch campaigns, and territory growth initiatives.
  • Distribute and manage all marketing materials, collateral, digital assets, and brand resources.
  • Serve as an on-the-ground brand ambassador, ensuring consistent messaging and product positioning across all field engagements

Surgeon & Customer Engagement

  • Translate surgeon insights and real-time field feedback into actionable improvements in messaging, content strategy, and commercial tools.
  • Support planning and execution of national trade shows, regional conferences, and major industry events, ensuring a
    polished, professional brand presence.
  • Assist with booth setup, logistics, materials, and attendee engagement.
  • Capture content and feedback to support post-show follow-up and marketing efforts.

Market Insights & Competitive Intelligence

  • Gather insights regarding customer needs, competitive activity, product feedback, and emerging trends.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • 3–7 years of experience in medical device marketing, field marketing, digital marketing, or related commercial roles.
  • Experience with WordPress, including uploading content, managing pages, and basic site updates.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro).
  • Experience partnering with sales teams and engaging surgeon/healthcare customers in a marketing capacity.
  • Strong digital marketing, social media, and content development skills; bonus for hands-on creative production.
  • Ability to work effectively with external agencies and production partners
  • Strong communication, project management, and organization skills.
  • Willingness to travel 40–60% based on field and event needs.
