We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Powder Coater to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying powder coatings to various metal surfaces, ensuring a high-quality finish that meets our company standards. This role requires a strong willingness to learn about industrial painting techniques and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for coating by cleaning, sanding, or masking as necessary.
• Operate powder coating equipment and apply coatings evenly and accurately.
• Monitor the curing process to ensure proper adhesion and finish quality.
• Conduct quality checks on finished products to identify defects or inconsistencies.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.
• Assist in the assembly of coated parts as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to improve processes and efficiency in line with lean manufacturing principles.

Skills

• Experience with hand tools and basic machining skills.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations and forklift operation is a plus.
• Strong basic math skills for measuring and mixing materials accurately.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a construction or manufacturing environment.
