Join a dedicated team for a critical,
6-month contract
focused on establishing a next-generation container platform. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced engineer to leverage their expertise in modern virtualization and container orchestration by deploying and configuring
VMware Tanzu Kubernetes Grid (VKG)
in a secure, on-premise, dual-datacenter environment. Your contributions will directly impact infrastructure modernization and platform delivery.
This is a full-time, on-site role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deploying and configuring the
    Tanzu Kubernetes Grid (VKG)
    platform on existing vSphere clusters.
  • Setting up core services, including load balancing (using
    VMware AVI
    ), networking, storage, and integrating enterprise Public Key Infrastructure (PKI).
  • Creating simple runbooks, diagrams, and providing comprehensive training to internal IT staff for ongoing platform maintenance and management.

Required Qualifications

  • Demonstrated hands-on experience with
    VMware Tanzu Kubernetes Grid (VKG)
    deployment.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure or systems engineering.
  • Expertise in vSphere 8 and container registry technologies (e.g., Harbor or GHES).
  • Experience implementing advanced load balancing solutions like
    AVI (NSX ALB)
    for Kubernetes ingress.
  • Ability and willingness to work full-time, on-site for the duration of the contract.
