JOB SUMMARY
The second assisting surgical technologist assists the surgeon and/or first assistant during the operative procedure by carrying out technical tasks such as holding retractors or instruments and applies sponges or suctions operative site Works under the direction of the surgeon, first assistant, circulating nurse, Assistant Manager, OR Manager, Director of Surgical Services and Vice President of Patient Care Services.
JOB DETAILS AND REQUIREMENTS
Type: Part Time (32 hours per 2 week pay period, without benefits)
Typical Hours: Variable start time
Education:
High School Diploma or GED- required
Certification & Licensures:
BLS Certification- required
Experience:
Willing to train
