What Will You Do
- Ensures that all electrical facilties are designed in accordance with all regulations, applicable industry codes and corporate standards.
- Manages the execution of the electrical design deliverables by a third-party engineering firm against the project budget and schedule.
- Reviews and approves electrical design deliverables for example drawings, technical reports, and material listing sheets.
- Reviews vendor materials quotations, evaluates technical bid evaluations, and recommends to the supervisor selections based on technical merit along with price and delivery. Collaborate with Supply Chain to procure material via internal tools.
- Provide technical support to Construction team during construction phases.
Who You Are
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university or college.
- 2-4 or more years of related experience.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to work with internal partners.
- Capable of working independently, managing multiple projects and prioritizing tasks accordingly
- Problem solves issues through use of standards, modification of standards and/or previous experience
- Role requires a valid driver's license, which will be verified with a motor vehicle check prior to hire.
Working Conditions
- 80% of work is office-based working with multiple project teams.
- 20% of time is in the field scoping projects or supporting construction and commissioning activities.

Physical Requirements Include But Are Not Limited To
Grasping, kneeling, light – moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.

Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.

Salary
- $64,000 - $95,000/year USD
