The Maintenance Technician will be accountable for performing all daily tasks as assigned. The care and condition of our properties is a critical component of providing a 5-star experience for our guests and owners. Job Responsibilities

• Complete minor tasks in a timely, safe, and correct manner.
• Notify the property management teams of tasks that are not minor and may require an outside vendor.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions and defects while working to determine appropriate corrective measures.
• Maintain accurate records of all work activities, materials used, supplies needed, and labor hours billed in our company software.
• Work with outside vendors, as needed.
• Maintain positive interactions with all co-workers, guests, and owners, providing a high level of customer service.
• Communicate effectively via email, text, and phone in a timely manner.
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance at all times.
• Be prepared for guest and owner interactions if maintenance items need to be addressed during their stay.
• Perform all duties as assigned daily and overcommunicate on tasks.
• Manage the company-issued credit card responsibly, ensuring timely submissions of receipts through the proper channels.
• Responsible for the upkeep, maintenance, cleanliness, and organization of the company's maintenance fleet vehicle.

Desired Qualities and Skills

• Previous experience with painting, drywall, entry level carpentry, appliance repair, basic HVAC knowledge, and basic plumbing.
• Knowledgeable in safe use and maintenance of hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment.
• Ability to work well under pressure in an agile, fast-paced environment.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to change activity frequently and cope with interruptions.
• Highly responsive and reliable with strong attention to detail.
• High level of personal accountability that the guest and owner experience is dependent upon your diligence in caring for the property they are staying in.
• Strong customer service skills & positive attitude.
• Team Player with a passion for service.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of proven experience in a construction or maintenance field.
• Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English.
• Able to work flexible hours, including holidays, weekends, and occasional pre-scheduled after hours on call shifts.
• Able to work in various weather conditions.
• Able to bend, stretch, walk, and stand for extended periods of time.
• Able to lift or move heavy objects such as furniture and appliances.

• Starting pay is based on experience.
