We're expanding our mobile service division and seeking skilled technicians to support upcoming inspection and maintenance operations across key U.S. locations.

Position Overview

We're looking for a Mobile Service Technician with solid experience working on medium and heavy-duty trucks and trailers.

This role involves on-site diagnostic and inspection work, requiring a high degree of independence, accountability, and mechanical expertise.

You'll perform inspections, preventive maintenance, and light repairs to ensure equipment safety and compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed trailer and vehicle inspections based on company standards.
  • Perform light mechanical and electrical repairs as needed.
  • Maintain accurate service and inspection documentation.
  • Coordinate with the FSG operations team to ensure readiness of assigned units.
  • Keep tools, equipment, and vehicles in top condition.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in medium/heavy truck or trailer repair.
  • Strong mechanical, electrical, or welding/fabrication skills.
  • Knowledge of air brake systems, hydraulics, and trailer electrical systems preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and travel as needed.
  • Valid driver's license required — CDL preferred but not mandatory.

Work Environment

  • Combination of mobile field inspections and light repair work.
  • Frequent standing, bending, lifting, and use of power tools.
  • Indoor and outdoor environments depending on assignment.
  • PPE and safety equipment provided.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $45.00 per hour
