Summary
The Emergency Department Technician II – FH role assists the healthcare team in the completion of specific patient care tasks. Upon successful completion of an IV course, performs IV's.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities (KSAs)

  • Education: Completion of an accredited Certified Nursing Assistant OR completion of a National Registry EMT-B or EMT-A course, OR completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program with 160 hours of clinical experience required.
  • License/Certifications: Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
  • Experience: N/A.
  • Additional Skills/Requirements Required: N/A
  • Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred: Basic computer skills and knowledge of medical terminology. Training in phlebotomy and performing EKG's.
