Once proficient, this job may require travel around the US for about 1 week per month for Preventive Maintenance at customer locations.


We are on the hunt for a talented and reliable technician to join our technical team in Farmington Hills, MI. In this position, your main responsibility will be to assess malfunctioning machines, repair them, assist customers with installations, troubleshooting and repairs remotely or on site. Our ideal candidate will have good knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, maintenance procedures and repair tools. To excel in this position, the applicant must be an outstanding problem-solver with exceptional communication and organizational skills. The ideal candidate has already served in a customer facing position, since we want to maintain an extremely high level of customer satisfaction at all levels.

This is a full-time exempt position.

Qualifications

  • Maintenance & Repair and Maintenance skills
  • Troubleshooting abilities and experience in Field Service
  • Excellent Customer Service skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills and technical aptitude
  • Maintain a log of repairs and maintenance schedule
  • Maintain inventory records for repair supplies.
  • Ability to work independently on-site in Farmington Hills, MI
  • Experience with electro-mechanical devices desired
  • Certificate or degree in a technical field is beneficial

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45, $60,000.00 per year
