Position Summary
We're hiring a Social Media / Marketing Specialist to grow TechR2's brand presence and organic reach across social and digital channels. This role is for a self-starter who is proactive, creative, and data-informed—someone who can turn technical topics (security, compliance, sustainability) into compelling content.
What You'll Do
- Own and grow organic social across (LinkedIn, X (Twitter), Facebook, Instagram) and other relevant platforms.
- Build and manage a content calendar and publish consistent, brand-aligned content (carousels, short videos, employee spotlights, customer stories, educational series).
- Create branded assets using Canva (required) and ideally Adobe Creative Suite.
- Support brand storytelling via newsletters (internal / External), basic PR/communications support, and event promotion (trade shows/webinars).
- Track and report organic KPIs (engagement, follower growth, clicks, traffic) using GA4, platform insights, and Google Search Console.
- Apply basic SEO best practices to content (titles, metadata, keyword-informed topics, internal linking).
- Collaborate with leadership on landing pages/blog updates as needed to reinforce brand messaging and clarity.
What We're Looking For
- 2–4 years' experience in social media, brand marketing, or digital communications.
- Strong writing/storytelling and basic analytics skills.
- Graphic design experience (Canva required; Adobe preferred).
- Proactive, organized, and able to execute independently.
- IT/cybersecurity/compliance industry familiarity is a plus.
Portfolio Preferred: Please include examples of social posts, graphics, campaigns, or content.
