Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Grill Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food handling and preparation, with a focus on grilling techniques. As a Grill Cook, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality meals to our guests while maintaining food safety standards. Your creativity in menu planning and culinary expertise will contribute to an exceptional dining experience.

Duties

  • Prepare and cook a variety of grilled items according to menu specifications.
  • Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety regulations and standards.
  • Assist in menu planning by providing input on seasonal ingredients and popular dishes.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill station and kitchen area.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
  • Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and communicate needs to management.
  • Help train new kitchen staff on grilling techniques and food safety practices.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a restaurant or culinary setting, particularly in grilling or cooking.
  • Strong knowledge of food handling, preparation, and safety protocols.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Culinary degree or relevant certifications are preferred but not required.
  • A passion for cooking and creating delicious meals that satisfy guests' dietary preferences.
