Dental Assistant Position
We are looking for a motivated and professional Dental Assistant to join our practice. This role supports the dental team in delivering high-quality care while ensuring a positive and seamless patient experience.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during procedures for a seamless patient experience
- Prepare, sterilize, and maintain dental instruments and equipment
- Capture and process dental x-rays
- Provide chairside support and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
- Maintain accurate patient records and uphold infection control protocols
- Perform lab tasks, including pouring models, packing cord, fabricating temporary crowns, and taking impressions
- Assist with CAD/CAM technology for dental restorations
Qualifications:
- Completion of a dental assisting program or equivalent experience (RDA preferred)
- Knowledge of dental anatomy, terminology, and infection control procedures
- Proficiency in taking dental x-rays and accurate patient record management
- Experience with pediatric patients is a plus
