Job Summary

Arazoza Brothers is seeking an experienced Superintendent to join our management team in South Florida and assist in the construction of projects consisting of landscape, irrigation, and hardscape scope packages.

Duties and Responsibilities

-Planning, coordinating and managing all phases of construction projects, including project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and closeout.

-Coordinate and oversee construction activities, ensuring adherence to project schedules and specifications.

-Manage field crews, labor, equipment and material orders.

-Review Contract documents and contract plans to verify scope and quantities for any discrepancies or unforeseen conditions.

-Conducting regular site inspections to assess project progress, identify risks, and ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements

-Carry out thorough project evaluations and assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary corrective measures.

-Conduct regular meetings to facilitate communication, address challenges and to meet project objectives.

-Provide regular updates and reports on project status, including as-built plans, milestones, budget updates, and any significant developments or risks.

-Maintain effective communication with project team members to provide project updates, address concerns and foster strong working relationships.

-Provide leadership and guidance to the project team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

Requirements and qualifications:

A bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field, preferred.

3+ years of relevant experience in construction.

Experience in Landscape, Hardscape or Irrigation trades is a plus.

Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical documents, including project blueprints and construction drawings.

Strong leadership and communication skills

Strong organizational and time management skills

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $65, $90,000.00 per year
