Job Description
As a Security Officer - Airport Access Control Patrol in Santa Ana, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a prominent government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming environment. Your presence and customer service skills will support a positive experience for all visitors, while your attention to detail and communication will contribute to a secure atmosphere. Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.Observe and report any suspicious activities and/or incidents to Allied Universal management and client representatives.Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points as required by site procedures.Complete detailed written reports of daily activities, observations, and/or incidents.Work collaboratively with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed.Remain alert to surroundings and communicate any maintenance or security-related concerns identified during patrols.Minimum Requirements:
At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.Customer service experience is preferred.Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Closing
