Raw Materials Handler

We're looking for a dependable and safety-conscious individual who thrives in a hands-on, outdoor environment. The ideal candidate will bring:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as loaders and skid steers
- Basic mechanical knowledge and the ability to troubleshoot minor issues
- A strong sense of responsibility with the ability to follow procedures and work independently
- Comfort working in outdoor conditions, including exposure to dust and noise
- The physical capability to lift, climb, and perform manual labor as needed
In this role, you'll play a vital part in our production process by ensuring raw materials are properly received, stored, and delivered to the production line efficiently and safely.
What you will do:
Raw Materials Handler plays a key role in the production process by ensuring the correct materials are received, stored, moved, and fed into the production system.
- Safely operate mobile equipment such as loaders, dozers, haul trucks, and skid steers to move raw materials
- Complete workplace exams, pre-operational checklists, and documentation per company and regulatory guidelines
- Maintain Stockpiles: Organize and manage raw material storage areas, keeping piles within designated boundaries and ensuring proper blending.
- Feed Production Systems: Load materials into hoppers or crushers, maintaining consistent feed rates to avoid production slowdowns.
- Monitor Quality & Inventory: Watch for contamination or incorrect materials. May assist with sampling and recordkeeping.
- Equipment Checks & Housekeeping: Conduct basic equipment inspections, report mechanical issues, and keep work areas clean and safe.
- Safety Compliance: Follow MSHA, and site-specific safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE at all times.
- Communicate clearly with team members, control room operators, and supervisors
- Participates actively and keeps employees involved in 5 S and CI systems.
