Position Summary
The Product Management Team is responsible for profitably expanding our product line with innovative credit card offerings and features, while also managing our existing products to meet financial hurdles. In this role, you'll report directly to the AVP of Product Finance.

Summary Of Essential Job Functions

  • Provide strategic product direction and oversight to ensure consistency, best-in-class product performance, and experience
  • Conduct P&L analysis and optimization - manage product profitability to meet financial hurdles.
  • Evaluate the financial viability of new products, partnerships, and new business opportunities
  • Utilize database tools to manage, manipulate and analyze large sets of financial information
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis as requested, primarily related to anomaly detection, investigation, and explanation
  • Forecasting account performance, revenues, and costs related to new products/portfolios
  • Identify, develop business cases, share findings and make recommendations to senior management for enhancements to assigned Product(s)
  • Build partnerships across the organization

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics or related field.
  • 7+ years of relevant work experience in a similar role in a professional corporate environment.
  • Advanced demonstrable use of at least one of the following: SQL Server, Oracle, or SAS
  • Advanced excel skills and the ability to build, understand, and follow complex models
  • Proficient in financial modeling, data mining, econometric, and statistical procedures
  • Sufficient self-confidence and ability to propose new ideas and solutions.
  • A willingness to take ownership of the role and a keen ability to partner with stakeholders to understand their needs and drive solutions from start to finish.

Preferred (Not Required)

  • Consumer credit card industry experience
  • Advanced degree
