Amazon is seeking a Business Intelligence Engineer to uncover drivers of marketing and visualize insights on customer behavior for Prime Video content. This role is within a high-growth, industry-leading business that is a critical driver of Amazon Prime subscriptions.

Key job responsibilities

• Interacting with stakeholders (technical and non-technical) to understand primary use cases and questions

• Building data queries for ad hoc uses, dashboards, and data science work

• Working with economists and data scientists to provide service-level and metric-level insights for the impact of marketing on Prime Video viewership.

• Creating and maintaining dashboards sharing marketing measurement data and insights

About the team
The Prime Video Marketing Analytics (PVMA) team uses machine learning, econometrics, and data science to optimize Amazon's marketing. The team generates insights into customer acquisition and engagement strategy, providing support to finance, marketing, and content teams.

Basic Qualifications:
- 3+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience
- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
- Experience with one or more industry analytics visualization tools (e.g. Excel, Tableau, QuickSight, MicroStrategy, PowerBI) and statistical methods (e.g. t-test, Chi-squared)
- Experience with scripting language (e.g., Python, Java, or R)
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, finance, supply chain, logistics, computer science or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree, or Advanced technical degree
- Knowledge of data modeling and data pipeline design
- Experience with statistical analysis, co-relation analysis

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $74,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $165,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
