About the Role:
Capstone Dermatology is seeking a highly motivated and team-oriented individual. This dynamic role is ideal for a professional who thrives in both clinical and administrative settings. You will serve as the lead MA at one dermatology clinic while also overseeing front desk operations at two locations. Occasional travel between clinics may be required.
Assist in the examination and treatment of patients under the direction of the Physician by performing the following duties:
- Provide direct patient care support in dermatology, including rooming patients assisting with procedures and documentation.
- Serve as primary liaison between clinical staff and the Clinical Manager
- Oversee front desk operations at two clinic locations, ensuring excellent patient services and efficient workflow.
- Train, mentor, and support front staff and medical assistants as needed.
- Monitor inventory and ensure clinical supplies are stocked and organized.
- Assist with scheduling, patient flow, and coordination of care.
- Travel between clinics as needed to support team operations and training.
What You Need For This Job:
- High School Diploma or general education degree
- Current Medical Assistant Certification, preferred 2 years experience
- CPR/ First Aid Certification
- Experience in a dermatology or medical office setting preferred.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred.
- Have general knowledge of EMR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Ability to travel between clinic locations as needed.
- Ability to frequently stand; walk; sit; stoop; kneel; crouch; crawl.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
