Delivery Driver: a successful driver must be able to work in varying external conditions (hot and cold) at many different job sites. Must be able to tolerate fatiguing activities such as lifting and moving heavy materials onto a truck on a frequent basis.

  • Must possess an up-to-date valid CLASS A driver's license
  • Must assist all customers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Deliver materials to customer sites in a safe and timely manner including unloading material at the designated location
  • Have customers sign off on delivery of material and ensure a satisfactory delivery. Note any back orders. Maintain clean and proper paperwork and turn in to supervisor at end of day.
  • Address any customer issues with branch staff.
  • Be able to efficiently pull and load order in safe manner onto pallets and trucks
  • Must have loads pre-checked and signed off on prior to leaving for delivery.
  • Help maintain inventory control by conducting cycle counts as needed
  • Operate trucks and forklifts in a safe manner
  • Must perform truck maintenance checks each morning before leaving to consist of all fluid checks and of any noticeable defects. Report any issues to management.
  • Keep track of and turn in all fuel receipts to management each day.
  • Keep clean and proper delivery paperwork.
  • Understand and abide by all DOT regulations and standards if applicable.
  • Perform any other duties as asked and required

Job Type: Full-time
